HID draws modestly and steadily once lit. On bikes with sensitive or smaller charging systems, a relay harness ensures the ballast gets clean, direct power without taxing the circuit. The finder flags if yours needs one.
HID gives the most beam distance; LED is the simplest install with instant brightness and low draw, which suits small charging systems well. Both are big upgrades over a stock halogen. Choose based on whether you prioritize throw or simplicity.
